GOOD GOVERNMENT AND BAD GOVERNMENT IN NIGERIA.
With the commencement of the foundation of this world both good and evil have been in existence. But that does not warrant the government to do bad if every nation not in good order. Their duty both to their various citizens and their great nation. Perhaps, many nations’ representatives or government leaders have failed woefully. A lot of governments are terribly bad most especially the Nigerian government officials or leaders who do not really care or have concern about the welfare condition of her citizens. The only thing they are mostly concern about is the way they will steal pubic fund – fund meant for the development of their country’s economy and citizens. Having said this, yearly Nigeria’s budgets never reduces but multiplying and things stated in the budget of this great country are not implemented meanwhile the government does steal the money and put it to their personal banks’ accounts but neglect all the necessary things they need to achieve. Under normal circumstances Nigeria as a nation who is highly blessed with various mineral resources is supposed to be prospering, excelling and be very great as United State of America and even United Kingdom that colonized her but due to bad government leaders who have been existing or ruling few years after independent that collapsed this great nation.
However, immediately after independence Nigeria and her government early leaders are still performing excellently because this great nation is endowed with different mineral resources in particular when oil was first discovered in Bayelsa State before the independent. And this added to the zeal of her citizens demanding for their citizenship right from the British colonial masters. Early stage of this independence of Nigeria 1950 everything was still working well because there were leaders who were greatly determined to change the face of Nigeria and made it to become like America and Europe. But due to greediness and selfishness leaders who came into lower for their personal interest that established the progress, unity, prosperity, fame economy and dignity of this great action and its environs in citizens few years after the independence 1960 some bad leaders emerged as leaders but in actual fact they are really terrible leaders who were not after the progress and success of the nation but destruction of lives and stealing of public fund. The first civilian president was killed i.e. Tafawa Balewa and his finance Mosntarte Festus Okotie Ebon by Aguniy Ironssi a military leader who forced himself on this great nation. Frankly speaking this nation has suffered in the hands of the military rulers a lot which is very bad because there were lots of killings by differs military leaders as well as embezzlement of both the resources of this nation oil and wealth. Military regime like Buhari, Babangida, Abacha, Abdul Kareem and Abusalam were terribly bad for this nation.

The worst part of all these is the case of president Obasanjo who was brought out of prison after the death of Chief Moshood Kashimawo Olawale Abiola – a presidential candidate that won an election but was put inside prison by our military leaders through a “poisonous tea”. And Obasanjo was brought out of prison in order to compensate the Yoruba’s. And Nigerians thought that God has elected a “Joseph” out of their prison to come, bless and change the Nation but not knowing that another “devil” has emerged the throne of leadership. He was appointed the first time i.e. the first four (4) years but he imposed himself on them (Nigerians) for the second term. He did not win the election but it was rigged. Throughout the eight (8) years of his leadership, the only thing Nigerian could point to as an achievement is the mobile phones he brought to Nigeria. He was a heartless, selfish, wicked, demonic, and non concern president of this great nation.
Notwithstanding, compared to president Obama of America. A very great leader who has dynamic visions and ambition to greatly transformed United States of America as well as Africa continent. A leader by examples and various achievements. Whom people both in United States and outside could commend on that indeed he is a good leader. Another great leader is President Nelson Mandel of South Africa who seriously fought for his nation and greatly suffered in the hand of the “A partied leaders” in South Africa then. But one day he emerged and did his job excellently. In fact, the whole world commend on it that he is a good leader and various awards were given to him.
Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola of Lagos State Nigeria. A leader by example, a role model and an icon. A leader by various and dynamic achievements. A leader whom people in Lagos State, other states in Nigeria and some part of the world ascertained and as well see clearly all his numerous achievements. An Obama of Nigeria and someone who worth to be elected as the next president of Nigeria. Indeed Fashola is a very great leader and I commend on him!
Governor Bukola Saraki is also trying in Kwara State Nigeria. He is also doing his best for the development of his state but in actual fact his achievements cannot be compared with that of Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola of Lagos State.
Nevertheless, to mention but few, as we have both good and bad leaders- government in the country we also have good and bad once in the church, Pastors like E.A. Adeboye of R.C.C.G and Bishop Oyedepo of Winners and few others are good and great leaders who have affected the world positively. We also have bad eggs in our churches as well as the body of Christ; T.B. Joshua whom God has opened all his secret i.e. evil acts and today not only in Nigeria but also in other part of the world have known that they are terrible men of devil but not men of God that they claimed to be. It is a very great pity that people who claimed that they were men of God (M.O.G) but one day their dark cloud emerged and all their secret acts was exposed by God. So, it is one true that “if lies roles for a year it is one day the truth will caught up with it”.
Conclusively, in this world of ours nothing is hidden from God and anything that goes up definitely one day it shall surely come down. The best thing in life is to be doing good anywhere one find his or herself in this world. Whosoever that finds him or herself in the area of leadership position needs to know that it should be handled with extra care and concerns so as to be able to give proper and an accurate account both to God and men. I seriously believed that Nigerian’s government leaders must learn from leaders like Nelson Mandela, Babatunde Raji Fashola, Obama and other great achievers who has dynamically affected their states, nations and its environs effectively and efficiently. So as to bring newness into life. It gives a great joy making people happy and while doing this God too is exalted. So, any where you find yourself in life make sure you impact one good thing or the other into people’s lives!
